LADERA RANCH, Calif. – (Nov. 29, 2018) – SmartStop Asset Management, LLC (SmartStop), announced today that the company has rebranded its four remaining student housing communities within its portfolio of assets under management to its premium student living brand, YOUnion Student Living®.
The newly rebranded YOUnion properties include: YOUnion @ Columbia, a 400-unit, 760-bed student housing community located three blocks from the University of South Carolina campus. YOUnion @ Ann Arbor, a 97-unit, 345-bed student housing community located three blocks from the University of Michigan. YOUnion @ Fayetteville a 198-unit, 592-bed student housing community located three blocks from the University of Arkansas. YOUnion @ Tallahassee, a 125-unit, 434-bed student housing property located one block from the Florida State University campus.
YOUnion @ Reno, a 186-unit, 709-bed student housing property located two blocks from the University of Nevada, Reno campus, was rebranded in May 2018.
The properties are all located within walking distance of Tier 1 university campuses and were completely rebranded, refreshed and enhanced with high-tech amenities during the fall of 2018.
