Our senior housing portfolio is focused on five key segments in the senior living continuum: active adults, private-pay independent living, assisted living, memory care and continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs). Unlike a traditional health care REIT which invests in hospitals, skilled nursing, medical labs, and medical office buildings along with senior housing, our program avoids commercial buildings as well as acute and post-acute facilities in favor of private pay, amenities-rich, professionally staffed and managed, income-producing senior housing properties with strong regional and local demographics.
